What we do
SolrScan is a solar roof analysis tool. Enter any address and get an instant snapshot of the property's solar potential — panel capacity, roof area, estimated savings — powered by satellite imagery and the Google Solar API.
For $19 you can unlock a full report with detailed financials, per-segment roof breakdown, panel placement map, and a PDF download you can keep and share. One-time payment, lifetime access. No account required. Your report link is emailed to you and works forever.
How the analysis works
When you enter an address, SolrScan calls the Google Solar API, which uses aerial imagery to map your roof's geometry, orientation, shading, and sun exposure across the year. The full report includes:
- Optimal solar panel layout and count
- Annual energy production estimates
- 20-year savings and payback period
- Federal, state, and utility incentives
- Roof segment breakdown by pitch, azimuth, and sun exposure
- CO₂ offset equivalent
Estimates are based on satellite data and are a starting point only. Actual results vary based on roof condition, shading, local regulations, and installed equipment. Always consult a qualified installer for a site assessment.
