Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using solrscan.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

What SolrScan is

SolrScan is a solar roof analysis tool. You can enter any property address to receive a free instant estimate of its solar potential based on satellite imagery and data from the Google Solar API. For a one-time payment of $19, you can unlock a full report that includes detailed financial projections, roof segment data, panel placement analysis, and a downloadable PDF. The report link is delivered to the email address you provide at checkout.

Estimates and accuracy

All analysis and figures provided by SolrScan are estimates based on satellite imagery and third-party data. They are intended as a general starting point and are not a substitute for a professional site assessment by a licensed solar installer or engineer. Actual energy production, savings, costs, and payback periods will vary based on factors including but not limited to roof condition, local shading, equipment specifications, utility rates, local regulations, and installation variables.

SolrScan makes no representation that any estimate, projection, or figure provided on the site or in a report is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You should not make financial or installation decisions based solely on information from SolrScan.

Purchases and refunds

Full reports are sold as a one-time digital purchase for $19. Because the report is delivered electronically and access is provided immediately upon payment, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a report link has been issued. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your report, contact us at info@solrscan.com and we will work to resolve it.

Report access

Upon successful payment, you will receive an email containing a unique link to your full report. This link is tied to your Stripe payment record and can be accessed at any time without logging in. Please save your report email. We are not responsible for emails that are blocked, filtered, or deleted by your email provider.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use SolrScan for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to access, scrape, or extract data from the site in bulk or through automated means.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the site or its reports for commercial redistribution.
• Use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems or interfere with other users.

Intellectual property

All content on solrscan.com, including the site design, code, and report format, is owned by or licensed to SolrScan. Reports purchased by users are licensed for personal, non-commercial use. You may download and share your own report for personal reference but may not resell or redistribute it commercially.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SolrScan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or any report, including but not limited to decisions made regarding solar installation, financial loss, or reliance on any estimate or projection. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the report.

Disclaimer of warranties

SolrScan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any analysis, estimate, or data provided.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
